My relationship with music
I don’t experience music as background. It’s always been a place — somewhere I go to get honest, to regulate, to remember who I am.
Over time, the way I listen has changed. I’m drawn to records with soul in them — the ones that carry warmth, tension, release. The ones that feel like a body moving, not just a beat landing.
I trust the quiet parts as much as the peak. That’s where the real atmosphere lives.
